Ace designer Tarun Tahiliani brought the showdown of FDCI’s India Couture Week 2019, which culminated in New Delhi recently. With his recent collection ‘Bloom’, Tarun showcased the delicate confluence of artistic traditions inspired by the pragmatism of the times we live in and of course, flowers. His collection of bridal couture was beautifully accentuated with fine polki and jadau jewellery pieces designed by Paramani Jewels, which added that extra panache and glamour to the collection.

For Tarun Tahiliani’s ICW’19 collection – Bloom – the jewellery brand curated special floral patterns in the jewellery design. Lot of other motifs like fish motif and old traditional poppy flower motifs were prominent in the jewellery line. Precious stones like Burma rubies, rose-cut diamonds were used with extensive designing traditions to bring out this year’s special range of fine handmade jewellery, also a lot of old Victorian-style jewellery was there in the collection.

Furthermore, intricate gold pieces set with uncut diamonds lent a sense of traditional luxury and aplomb to the show. Jadau pattern was used to accessorise almost every look with a mix of antiques pearls, meenakari work and coloured stones. Meanwhile, the cut-diamond jewellery that adorned the models were from Gems Paradise. The jewels struck the right balance of making the look seem fit for a grand occasion, yet understated.
