The India Couture Week 2019, being held in New Delhi, was kickstarted by couturier Amit Aggarwal, who showcased his collection ‘LUMEN’ featuring traditional Indian silhouettes that blend with western ideologies of couture. For Couture 2019, the ace designer collaborated with Narayan Jewellers by Ketan and Jatin Chokshi. Their newly launched bridal collection had engineered designs inspired by the beauty of nature, striking an interesting balance between form and function.
Bollywood Kiara Advani, who was the show-stopper, looked resplendent in a red lehenga by Amit Aggarwal. Her look was beautifully accessorized by stunning Emerald necklace by Narayan Jewellers. Kiara carved a gorgeous picture as the modern Indian bride and with her stunning jewellery.
Talking about their intricate jewellery line, Ketan Choski informed TJD, “The new collection includes a small capsule of diamond jewellery which is an extension of our recent New York Fashion Week collection. We have introduced some new concept of body chain which becomes a part of the ensemble and unique earrings which is a combination of an ear cuff with a stud. We are proud to partner with him for this. We launched this trend with Tonya Lewis Lee at the Oscars red carpet and introducing it in India for the first time at the FDCI Couture Week.”
The latest collection comprises of seven-row haars, diamond body chains with a broach, chandelier earrings, traditional chand balis and jhumkas, cocktail rings and bracelet.
