‘The jeweller to the stars,’  ‘a style icon’, and ‘a talent extraordinaire’, these are just few epithets that Farah Khan Ali is bestowed with. But there is more to this maven of ornamental craftsmanship, who hails from a family of Bollywood stars, with father Sanjay Khan and uncle Late Feroz Khan to name a few. Her designs are exquisite and exceptional, and her list of accolades, countless with several jewellery awards under her belt. The designer’s jewellery has been donned by stars at the Oscars, Golden Globe, Grammys, the Emmys and all high-profile red-carpet dos back home in India. Just to tell you, Farah draws inspiration from art, poetry and the myriad musings of life. Apart from her creative quest that has led her to design luxury accessories and products, her pursuits also spill over to lifestyle, wellness and philanthropy.

Farah Khan Ali recently celebrated 25 years as a jewellery designer and gemmologist, and 15 years of her brand, Farah Khan Fine Jewellery. On this momentous occasion, she launched a coffee table book that narrates her vibrant life as an artist, entrepreneur and dreamer. A Rizzoli Books publication, Farah Khan: A Bejewelled Life is the first book by an Indian jewellery designer to receive an international release—70 countries worldwide. The book takes readers into Farah’s inner world, which is star-speckled and soulful at the same time, notwithstanding the magnificent jewellery.

The launch featured paintings, video installations sculptures and mixed media art on canvas. Couture pieces and prét line from the atelier of Farah Khan Fine Jewellery as well as designs from the Farah Khan World line of luxury fashion accessories and lifestyle products along with some stunning jewellery were also on display.
