Oscars 2018 : A star studded night with jaw-dropping jewellery


The most coveted awards of the year, the 90th Academy Awards 2018, was an exuberant occasion as personalities dazzled in the Dolby Theatre. Arriving at the red carpet adorned in the best ensemble, they dripped with diamonds and precious stones from the house of the famous and the trusted.

From eye-catching earrings and chandeliers, to stunning necklaces and hand accessories, the stars flaunted them all with flair. Let’s have a look at the changing trends that celebs brought about!

 Gal Gadot

Impressive as always, Gal Gadot made her red carpet appearance in an Art Deco inspired Tiffany & Co. necklace, set with aquamarines and more than 1000 diamonds. The stunning sautoir definitely looked extravagant as did her silver Givenchy gown.

Allison Williams

Graceful like the flow of water, Allison Williams’ alluring River Diamond earrings from Harry Winston’s Water Collection were classy and chic. The drop diamond pair, set in platinum, featured 16-carats of white diamonds to complement the Get Out star’s nude beaded Armani Privé gown.

A befitting choker to enhance the Black Panther actress DanaiGurira’s sleek Gabriela Hearst column gown. 676 diamonds totalling to 36-carats, the choker from Paris-based designer Messika was from the 2018 Siren Song high-jewelery collection.

Sure to meet the criteria of dainty and classic, Emily Blunt looked lovely with the unusual chandeliers and high neck blend. A neat arrangement of pear-shaped aquamarines and diamonds made these Chopard earrings a definite highlight to her pale blue Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown.
