The years of soaring anticipation of fans finally landed at The Mansion House in Alibaug as Bollywood’s Humpty Sharma (Varun Dhawan) tied the knot with his Dulhaniya – childhood sweetheart and designer Natasha Dalal – on January 24 in an intimate ceremony. Given the excitement around this first celeb wedding of 2021, the two dreamy pictures that Varun shared on Instagram to make the big announcement post his pheras with Natasha were enough to bring the whole internet down.
Apart from the congratulatory messages, fans couldn’t stop gushing about the astounding wedding look of the ‘it’ couple that looked straight out of a dreamy white wedding. While Varun made for the quintessential elegant and fresh Manish Malhotra groom, his ladylove Natasha opted for a pale gold-ivory lehenga from her eponymous label and opted for an understated yet elegant look in pristine white diamonds with a pop of emeralds.
The minimalistic jewellery that complemented Natasha’s exquisite ensemble included a pretty diamond necklace bejeweled with an emerald centerpiece, bangles, a mang tikka, and matching earrings, shining brighter than her glossy highlighter and Varun’s beaming smile.
What we loved the most about our newly-minted bride was her fresh take on the Kaleeras. Natasha ditched the usual gold chunky Kaleeras and went in for a set in silver and set the template for upcoming spring weddings.
