Sayyesha is a millennial chic bride for her wedding to Arya

It’s hardly a wonder that Sayyesha made for a dreamy bride for her wedding to Tamil superstar Arya. The stars tied the knot at Hyderabad’s Taj Falaknuma Palace on March 10, and we could imagine the wedding had a regal undertone because Sayyesha kept her ensemble traditional and yet very chic and hassle-free. But what stunned us was the fact that she went for a rather modern cut of jewellery, instead of traditional gold designs or jadau. Here Rajasthani set for her wedding and fairy tale-inspired diamond set for a pre-wedding soiree has us bowled over.

Before the big day

For a pre-wedding festivity, Sayyesha chose a Disney princess-inspired ensemble, which made her look like a modern rendition of someone from the Arabian Nights. Sayyesha was careful so as to not let the bling step over her own glow, and even picked out a white embellished lehenga with tone-on-tone work. As for the  jewellery, the star chose a really chic and glamorous diamond set to go along with her zari ensemble. If you’re planning a summer wedding, a sophisticated piece like this would make for a stunning addition to your wedding wardrobe, instead of a super desi one. Notice how Sayyesha wore chandelier earrings and a waterfall-inspired necklace, and finished off her look with a simple maang tika. Most people tend to over-do it when they choose to wear a low-key ensemble. But remember, for summer weddings, less is more.

We are obsessed with Sayyesha’s chandelier style choker. It’s chic, it’s cool and totally enhances her look. Notice how she sticks to ethnic heavy ear pieces with her modern neck piece

Post Wedding Festivities

For a pre-wedding event Sayyesha opts for two simple strands of diamonds. This is a great idea if you want a classic look with a hint of modernity.
