Diipa Khosla, model and Instagram’s favourite star, got married recently to Oleg Buller, and calling it a fairytale wedding will seem an understatement in her case. Detailed to perfection, the bride was adorned in spectacular jewellery from Amrapali Jewels for her wedding functions.
Balanced and spaced out, the jewels were attractive and stood out against the impeccable venue of the royal Hotel Fateh Garh, Udaipur. The elaborate functions were a treat to sore eyes as the designer ensemble and different looks make for an exquisite choice, which will be loved this coming season. Here are the highlights:
Mehendi
Beautiful pastel tones for a royal and classic appeal coupled with gold at the neck was a certain hit for the mehendi function. The bride-to-be wore a choker and dangling earrings by Amrapali Jewels for the first function for a flashy yet elegant affair.
Set in gold, the polki choker and earrings, enhanced with pearls and hints of green were striking with the floral motifs on her Sabyasachi saree.
Sangeet
The trendsetting choice of attire and stunning jewellery which Diipa wore for the sangeet will definitely impress new brides this season. Screaming of carefree yet flawless for the occasion, her encrusted studs with tassels worn with saharas in the hair were catchy and allowed her to dance freely. Going sans necklace and bangles, she instead opted for a polki armlet to adorn her sleeveless Anamika Khanna Outfit.
Haldi
Again choosing a pastel tone with gold embroidery, the bride opted for gold studs and a matching mang tika to keep it comfortable yet stylish. The fresh touch with flowers on the wrists and head completed her haldi adornments.
Chooda Ceremony
The close-knit chooda ceremony saw the bride adorned in a huge polki choker by Amrapali Jewels as the only ornament on her. She teamed it with a deep toned bustier and floral skirt by Manik Jassal. The complementing tones of pearls and emeralds set in gold looked great on the bride for the intimate ceremony.
Traditional Wedding
Adorned in an extremely heavy polki choker complete with mathapatti, jhumkis and armlet, the bride was an ethereal vision. She chose a deep maroon Sabyasachi lehenga with classic gold work all over to pair it with. The splash of green emeralds and white tiny pearls added a lovely touch of bright to the whole ensemble.
White Wedding
Jewellery had to be minimal here with just a pair of studs as she wanted her gorgeous Ashi Studio gown to be the focus. A single pair of studs by In Jewelry Shop were the only jewels on her, also after she changed into a plunging neck dress by Pronovias to party on in through the night.
Reception
Now, this is one trend we loved! The glowing bride kept the sparkle of diamonds for the reception and flaunted a regale look in a blue Manik Jassal blouse and ivory skirt. Suited to go well with her plunging necklines, the diamond encrusted necklace and stud earrings were a fine choice to end the celebrations in.
Keeping the jewels constant, she later changed into a Faraz Manan ensemble with loose curls which was complemented with the whimsical and romantic décor of the dinner and reception venue.
Finely crafted gold, polki and fine diamond jewels made the bride stand out in all flair as the extravaganza and celebrations made sure to sweep anyone off their feet.
